Do you have a stereo setup in threr? if not do it.
Yes I do. I made a poor mans surround sound, by putting six new speakers in six old drive-in speakers. I hooked them up to the stereo and the TV. It sounds really good
My wife works as a registered nurse for a Home Nursing agency and the brother and sister were both her patients at one time or another. Her job is to visit patients at their home and because of the creek, she would ask me to drive her to the farm when the water was up. More than once, I had to drive the Jeep through two to three feet of water and if I did it fast enough, the carpet stayed dry Over the years, we got to know those two pretty well an we'd go there just to visit and listen to their "stories of the past". They owned a three story plank house but when they got older, they moved their essentials to the basement and lived there full time. An old cook stove was used for heat and food and they had some oil lamps for light. One thing's for sure, everyone should spend time with older people like that. There's so much to learn from them.
Didn't Hercules build something besides buggies and wagons ? I can't think of what I've seen with their name on it.
That's a really nice setup you have there.....I've never had my own house, always lived in rentals. Thinkin' about buying a house soon though.....would like to have at least a 2 stall garage, and paint epoxy the floor grey, and have a portion of the floor on one side tiled black and white checkered in 1 foot squares. hang all of the tools on one wall, and then hang up some nice vintage sign's etc. , maybe a neon sign on the wall. get a stereo and a couple speakers set up, a beer fridge, and some 220 volt service for welding, etc. All you would need then is a heater to keep it warm and you would just about spend all your time in there!!

Thanks Joe,
I do spend a lot of time in there. No bigger then it is (10 x 16) It doesn't take much to heat it. I have a PVR out there that records all the car and motorcycle TVshows. My wife keeps the cabinet full of snacks for me. It's like , my little corner of the world. I think that's something everyone needs.
That is very cool! All you need is a restroom and you have your weekend get away! Sort of a Hog House( or Dog House ), depends on how you look at it! Tim
Not as nice as your's but I like to call it home. Since this picture, the wall that the 56 Chevy banner is hanging on is filled with wall cabinets and a work bench.
