You do realize that not all Redwing shoes are assembled in the USA? They're also made in Vietnam, Cambodia, etc.
I guess I did not realize that only quality products were made in the US. Damn, my bad...
My Glocks aren't made in the US, my video game consoles aren't made in the US, my cell phone wasn't made in the US. Being made in the US doesn't mean quality, being a quality product does.

I've never said that. But I believe when people on this forum talk about Harley's and their accessories (parts, clothes, etc), most people would agree they'd rather purchase a product Made In the USA.

I have the 8" boot, 2nd pair, 1st pair had an issue with the sole coming apart in the first 6 months. This pair is 2 years old and going strong. I rotate them with my harness boots.
You bought some over priced yang a lang boots and they fell apart. Here's another news flash, trains travel on tracks, if you don't wanna get hit by one have a good look before you cross.
So many ignorant posts about Redwing. Yes they have a budget line that isnt made in the USA. But their better boots are manufactured in the USA and they are great boots that last a long time, and can be resoled and reheeled.
I bought Danner boots this summer because I didnt like any current Redwings. YMMV. My Redwings are about 8 years old and still work perfectly. I had them resoled with Vibram soles.
Probably made in CHINA I'd ask for my money back and buy some real boots made in the USA.
I'm wearing the same pair of Wesco Highliners I've had for about 30 years, took them in for one rebuild so far at the Wesco factory about 10 years back and replaced the laces this year. Still going strong. https://builder.wescoboots.com/
+1 on the Highliners. Ive had a pair for three years and theyre easily the best boots Ive ever owned
We bought some Harley boots for my wife and the sole fell off after a few months. Took them to the last remaining old time shoe repair shop in town, "The Shoe Hospital" and he said "Oh, Yeah. We reglue all of these for the dealer when he fixes them under warranty. Happens all the time."
Never again.
I wear Carolina engineer's boots. Union-made in the USA according to the label. A pair usually lasts me 10 year or more.
