When I look at Harleys site, I only see 2021s and no 2022s.m

It used to be the next model year was announced at least a few months before the end of the year abd the website was updated.
Here we are a few days into 2022 and nothing.
Not that I am in the market, but I am sure some people are.
yeah, that changed last year and is going to be carried over each year since. instead of announcing the new models just before the end of riding season, hd is going to announce the new models in january, giving you time to build the excitement going into riding season. if you go to the hd page, you can sign up to watch.

The midnight crimson on my Sportster - S is just paint. No metallic.
I have a Midnight Crimson 21 Forty-Eight and it is metallic. Now, its a super fine metallic and you really have to get up close to it when its bright out to tell, but theres definitely a flake in it.

Same with the Midnight Crimson on my 2021 Low Rider S. Needs sunlight or a very bright flashlight to see the metallic in it as it's a very fine metallic.
