maybe, just maybe....the OP is a legit new HD guy who excited about what he's found and is asking a lot of newb questions

anyhow...a stage 2 or 3 is where you'll really see the difference in an upgrade...the magic is in the cam...a stage one is just a rite of passage for every new HD owner...the oem hd exhaust installer lives a pointless existence

2. Upper left under his User Name, it says "New Member".
3. Heck man, right outta the chute he says "I'm new to HD."
4. Also mate, did you look at atjurhs sig? No troll would have a sig like that mate.
5. To say the least, he is from Alabama. Y'all know all Alabamians are loving courteous chaps eh?

You'd be very happy with the stage 2, I know I am.

Thank you! Not sure why all the smart-a** comments. I have been only riding for 7 years and a Harley for just 5 years. Nope I do not know how to work on it. I get regular service to keep it safe and running well. Yes I am learning this and that every day. So I do appreciate straightforward answers to legit questions. We were all newbies at one time

Welcome to the group.
I could be wrong but here is my take.
Stage 1: High flow Air intake and exhaust.
Stage 2: Stage 1 plus performance Cam install and a Dyno tune.
Stage 3: Stage 1&2 plus a Big bore kit and retune.
Stage 4: Stage 1-3 plus heads reworked and ported or new heads plus new injectors and throttle body.
