It's getting colder around here, I do fine down to 30°F but after that the stinging sets in around the knee area. A pair of sweats under regular pants helps, but I'm thinking a cheap pair of chaps would keep the wind off, thus increasing comfort as it's a pain to change clothes in the office. 18° this morning and I'm in shopping mode
I happened upon a post a few months ago where someone mentioned a motorcycle specific website that had a great selection of chaps at prices around $100. I was wondering if anyone had the name of that company. Also, any recommendations on a value pair of chaps that'll fit a larger guy, or features to spring a few bucks extra on? They will only be used a handful of times a year so I don't need top of the line.
Have you ever heard the phrase "You get what you pay for." before? Cheap or inexpensive ain't where it's at.
Understood, like I said, this is just to keep the wind off on days below freezing. A trash bag and rubber bands would likely work, but I'm aiming for one notch higher
