I have a 2021 street bob that I am looking to get a battery tender for. A friend from work had an old one he was no longer using. Would this battery tender be compatible with my bike? Also any other battery tender options, it seems Harley battery tenders are backordered on their website. Below is a photo of the older battery tender:
Welcome to the forum - and congratulations on the new bike.
That charger should work just fine. If it is not in working condition, make sure you buy one that is also a maintainer. Earlier someone posted the one from Amazon that was $54. This is what I use on my bike and my generator.
Unless the OP changed batteries out (which wasn't mentioned), AFAIK, all newer Harleys have AGM batteries and I don't know of any that come with Lithium. Why do people keep asking battery type?
I explained why. You apparently didn't read it.
H-D just came out with Lithium LiFe batteries. Additionally, lithium replacement batteries have been out for a while now.
Might be helpful to know what you have, so you can treat it accordingly. Ever see a lithium battery get overheated?

Can you read? He has a new motorcycle with the stock (AGM) battery. NOT A LITHIUM! SMFH!!
Your post is irrelevant to the question.
I can read just fine. This is the battery listed for a 2021 Street Bob....From Harley Davidson's own site.
It's Lithium, Sport.
So do you really know what's in his bike? I was trying to be cautionary, not irrelevant.
If that one cant keep up, you might have to step up to a charger around 1.5 Amps (1500 milliAmps) for a Harley sized battery. Especially if the charge got low.
ive had that one for years, still works while others have failed........best thing is not only will it charge harleys but my hondas my yamaha and my matchless batteries too
