I hope you enjoy your 2008 Ultra!
I traded my 9 1/2 month old 30,000 mile broken crank
2007 Ultra in for a new 2007 Ultra (same color) but I
did it due to Harley taking over a month to put a new
engine in my 30,000 mile Ultra.
Thanks tomy GREAT dealer I traded the blown up 07
almost even trade for a new 07. all my friends and the
dealer wanted me to trade for an 08 Ultra because the
dealer would have made the same deal for me on an 08.
The wife and I desided an early 08 would be like our
early 07 so we went with a last 07 off the assembly line
to see if it is any better.
I'm happy to say after 8 days and 1,800 miles it is a much
nicer bike then the old 07 was and I loved the old rattle
trap just the way she was. The one thing I love about the
new 07 is I'm getting right at 50MPG no matter how I
ride this one and it does not ping all the time like the old
one. (this one never pings)
I hope you have much better luck with your 08 then you
did with your 07 my friend and keep us posted on how it
runs would you.
