Change the Battery, softail batteries in the center of the oil bag stay hot, 3 years is all you can expect....tender will keep it charged, but as soon as plates corrode and short out the battery is done...get a Shorai or like kind if you want years of service, but they are pricey. bite the bullet or carry a jump pack.....
I got 8 years out of a battery and it was a daily rider. Anytime the bike wasn't rolling it was on a tender, all 4 seasons. I have consistently gotten 5 and 6 years out of all of my other batteries by doing the same thing.
I do the same for my lawn mower and it's on its 2nd battery in 12 years. I replaced the first one about 4-5 years ago.
I've never even attempted to get more than 3 years out of a motorcycle battery.
Cars and trucks can run well on a discharged battery but motorcycles cannot and having a battery fail when I'm on the road is not a fun thig to endure.
For other uses, mower, tractor and generator I replace the battery when needed.
