Performance Baggers?
This article mentions around $30,000 for the ST's. Hell, out here in Cali the Street/Road Glide Specials are well over that price!
I guess the ST's come with the 117 engine like a CVO, which is cool. They say longer rear suspension, which probably means 13" rears, 2 into 1 exhaust, and some bitchin trim paint.
In my mind, a performance bagger has to have a inverted front end and killer brakes. Ditch the electronic bling, put a cheap-*** exhaust on it (cuz you're going to change it anyway), and maybe they can sell for only $30K.
Nice looking!

I recently installed a set of MX bars,12 risers & a t-Rex plate on my 13 Street Glide and that alone made me feel like I was back on my 01 fxdx. Also just picked up a Lucky Daves bagger seat for it so my riding position is now perfect. Next thing I need to do is nix the Nasty Hog stretched rear fender & matching saddlebags. And since those are coming off I guess the dual exhaust will follow suit. Time for some standard length bags, stock rear fender (cut down to match the bag length) and 2 into 1 shorty exhaust.
Heres a few pics of why I need to swap out the fender, bags & exhaust. Plus Im vertically challenged at 59 so I cant really go much higher with the suspension. But, I guess if Im gonna go full P/B with it, Im gonna need something better than Progressive suspension.
For performance Im running a DME 107 Megasphere kit, billet cam plate, a 58mm throttle body, V&H power dual header w/Thundercone slip-ons, an FP3 tuner, Barnett scorpion clutch. Nothing too radical, but it pulls hard.
