Wow....installed one on HC's bike last Friday....whata difference put one on my bike tonght. Think HD charges $600 or so...go one for 20 bucks....already had the trany fluid...installs pretty quick
Ah... ok. I got the HD kit last year, and it made a real night/day difference. It wasn't 600 bucks though! more like about $150.00 installed. Some of the best $$ I've spent on her.
It's the same as the OEM on the '06 and up bikes. Made a HUGE difference, especially in heavy stop and go traffic. With the original clutch, my hand would actually cramp up after a little while. With this kit installed, I've never had any hand cramping problems at all. And I've been stuck in really brutal stop and go traffic.
Man I Googled it and came up with nothing. Now I know. I want to put one on the Fatboy because after riding the RoadGlide, the Fatboy feels like I'm squeezing one of those exercise things.
Seems pretty easy to install. What's the HD tranny end cover gasket cost?
That is why I put one on HC's bike...traffic would kill her hand, it only got to me in long intervals of heavy stop and go but, had to put one on after seeing the difference with HC's.
That spring looks alot easier to get off than the stock one

You can find the Burly ones for under $25...easy to follow instrutions...easy to do....getting the spring off is the hardest part.....

Well I've been meaning to get a set of spring pliers anyway. Any excuse to get new tools.
