Back when a few of us did a south of the border dip one guy got himself a screaming deal on a coat & chaps. Dude was stoked till we hit a big rainstorm and all that new leather started smelling hard like old ****. Stuff stank bad everytime it got wet.

US Army made a green plastic rain suit for many years. If you left it rolled up longer than a few days, it would smell like vomit when you donned it. We all left then rolled up longer than a few days.

Usually only gym bike seats. But I may have to start diversifying.

Did you order from Saddleman?
I ordered threw Harley heaven. It was almost artificially and chemically strong smelling. That's why I thought it may have been some sort of gimic.
