I wish I had the extra cash lying around. I'd make an offer myself, but only if it came with the riding gear. Incredible time capsule there.

I'm also not convinced that R34 is an actual Harley model designation. But here's what it might be

It is most definitely a 1934 R model which is 45ci/750cc. Tell tale sign is the final drive being on the right hand side of the bike. If you look at the 74ci VL in the link posted above you'll notice the final drive is on the left hand side of the bike. My grandfather purchased new in 1935 a 1935 RL after hiring into the H-D factory in 1934.

having that bike in the family all of this time, WOW, its fantastic has it sits, The leather bags and jackets, gloves, is just icing on the cake, like it has been said, Im sure the guys at wheels through times will help with any questions you have, like how to take care of all the leather, that would be my first question, you have a great piece of history right there,
