Does anyone know what kind/brand of forward controls these are? They came on the bike when my dad bought it. He liked them since he was long legged, when he passed i got the bike cause my mom didn't want it. I like the forward controls as well, however i am a little heavier that my dad was and so they feel very cheap/insubstantual, ya get my drift lol. I can easily tell someone jimmy rigged the mount for the floor boards, cause everything i can find there aren't any angle iron brackets that mount the floor board on like these. I know that the controls have to be some sorta company style/brand but i just seem to find what one it is. Can someone identify them for me please, that way i may be able to modify them back to origional?
Thank you very much for the help.
Those look like something someone bought then rigged up some DIY brackets to make the footboards fit. I searched and searched but couldn't find any accurate info on them. Are you sure someone didn't make them for your dad?
I'd be looking into what's going on with that compensator nut too... It looks pretty rough.
Don't know the brand of forward controls, but the Footboards (have nothing to do with the controls) are the mini adjustable kind that mount where the foot peg used to be.
If you wanted footboards that are solid and in their normal position, you could do it, but that exhaust might give you problems.
