Engine issue at a certain RPM
I have a VRSCDX and have an issue.
When i'm out and making full throttle i notice some sort of lag at 5000rpm. While under it goes as supposed, and when i'm around 5500-6000 it feels like it loose up and start going great again.
So around 5000rpm it feels like it's getting drained.
Anyone have any idea of what it might be?
Already tried to reset everything with a computer but it didn't help.
Now i'm trying with injector cleaner to see if it might help, but nothing so far.

You could remove it and clean it with some electrical spray, but this is a temporary fix .
Also could be a very dirty air filter.

Thanks for the info about the throttle sensor, will give that i try when i'm back home.
The airfilter is brand new so that shouldn't be an issue.
I think it all started when i changed the battery to a new one. Because i had do remove the airfilter housing and therefore expose the top of the engine.
From the bottom of that housing there is a hose going to one of the "heads" of the engine, not sure what it does tho.
And at first i didn't get that hose back in position so when i drove away there was some oil coming out since the rubber packing didn't fit 100%.
I then removed everything and got it back in position.
Not sure if this might be have something to do with it, but somewhere around this time it started.
This is for a 2014.

It did work before i removed and re-installed it. Still think the tube might be the failing part?
I've attached a photo where i marked the spot on the engine where the oil came out.
its a cooper pipe with a rubber sealing that goes in that hole. And then the tube from the airfilter housing slides on that cooper piece.
