I cannot lie. Ive had both my kids bikes on a trailer when I was unable to figure out how to make them run again. I can say that since Ive owned it, my bike has not ever been on a trailer.
For emergencies, my standard 16 utility trailer, a pair of homemade 2x12 4wheeler ramps strapped together, and a couple of nylon tie down straps does the trick. Itll also handle a wrecked car, tractor, zero turn mower, and haul mulch for mamas flower bed.
Never have had to put a bike on it yet, but I bought this car trailer used from a U-haul franchise, to haul my tractor. It's dual-axle,
I figured it was at least maintained. $1000
The only time I use the trailer is for the cross country, multi week visits (and to use my truck to haul the wife's and cough, cough, my million items of clothes and other assorted ****)
I keep the quick detach tour pack in the knack box (rock guard) to keep it from growing legs at hotels.

I didn’t know they sold them! They are good trailers.
Any ideas or thoughts on certain models or features?
what do have to pull it with?
if a truck, and room to park/store a full size trailer, check out the full size utility trailers at Tractor Supply or Sam's Club
(both my locals have some on the lot)
15" wheels and a spare are a must, and a socket, breaker bar and jack to get under the axle on the road.
Scissors jacks from junk cars work great.
Good sturdy decking, and six forged eye hooks.... 2 front, 2 middle, 2 rear to strap the bike down... compress the suspension slightly when tightening the straps, disable the security, do not put it on the side stand or leave in gear.
I had ramps ( 1 x 12, 4 of them) that I would use.... I would block the tail gate up a few inches and put the ramps to the gate ( ramp kit from Home Depot) to reduce the angle and the transition from the ramp to the deck.... more of an issue on one of my old rice bikes that would catch the OEM oil plug.... guys ripped their oil pan off sometimes but not me)
The Condor chock trailer mount allowed for quick removal of the chock, so I could use the trailer for lots of other things.
That trailer made trips up and down the east coast from house to house with baggers and rice bikes on it.... proper tie downs and straps made it so no bike ever moved an inch
