Dealers charge from $300 to $600 for oil, primary and trans. if you can afford to throw that kind of money at a Hd dealership.
they will be happy to take it. just check the work they often screw it up.
I once got an oil/filter change from Chuck's Deluxe in Gillette, WY. $70...but I was on a trip and it was time.
They messed up my voltage regulator plug. I didn't discover it until 30 miles down the road, when my battery started fading. At that point, the leads on the plug and staor were ruined. I've changed my own oil/filter hundreds of times and never touched that plug.
F'kin' oil change from the dealer wound up costing me $400.

I spent 1200 and bought a service plan for 4 years of routine maint. They are loosing money on me. Got a year and half left, and just had my 40k done
with a 1k, and then one at 5k and incremental after that, you've had them do 9 maintenances....so far you've paid $133 a pop, but you are on track for them to do about 6 more before the time is up.....15 maintenances for 1200, provided they do it right, it's a great deal
when a guy like you rides it like the only ***** in the harbor, they lose on these deals

They more than make up for it selling service plans to all those who buy a new bike and suddenly "have no time to ride".
Agree w/ most IRT self-servicing oil change, but allow a good 1.5 hours to mop-up the oily mess fm great HD engineering on filter location.
Nope, read a neat trick on this great forum: remove your filter while on kickstand - that in combination with filter funnel on my last oil change not a single drop was on the floor !
