It's not too early to start making plans for Vegas towards the end of January. They have some nice bikes starting to be consigned.

I went to one about 10 years ago and saw some incredible bikes. The descriptions of some of these are suspect and don't appear to have been "proofed" by someone knowledgeable, there's a FXRT called a Road Glide, a 78 and 88 both described as 75th anniversary editions, 1954 years described as 50th anniversary - wouldn't they be '53 ? He has a very nice collection of the lightweight models from the 50s and 60s.
I wouldn't mind having a few of those bikes in the garage. Have fun at the auction, it's a great event.
Edit - appears 1954 is recognized as the 50th anniversary model year for HD ...
