My prayers go out to your friend for as fast a recovery as possible. At least God spared his life and yours too. I cant imagine what you are going through, it must be in your mind constantly. But you have such a gorgeous bike, push it to a back corner of the garage and wait until your friend heals and then make your decision. Time heals all wounds and if in time you still feel you need to hang it up then get out the for sale sign, but you might have a change of heart by then.

Sorry about your friend...time does heal though. You are going through so much now...I pray that you hang on to your beautiful bike until after the initial truama and then decide about hanging your helmet up...my prayers are with you both.

Prayers for both of you. Take time to heal and no rash decisions is my only advice.

Take care

Sorry about your buddy. I wish him a full and speedy recovery.

Take your time with your decision. Work through your shock with the help of loved ones (especially with your buddy who is recovering). Supporting those effected by this accident, including yourself, should come first. Once that's pretty much completed -- your mind should be clear enough to decide what's right for you.

Good luck to you and your buddy.

Hope your friend heals completely. AFA hanging it up, you should really take some time and reconsider.

I have witnessed the trauma of accidents, and have been in some myself (some resulting in some wonderful scars). But I would not ever consider giving up something I like to do for any amount of fear. Fear can never be allowed to control, or it will creep into every other thing as well.

Had a buddy that crashed his hot rod one night. He never bought another fast car again, and his personality changed so drastically (being a constant worrier) that we stopped hanging out. He basically stopped doing anything, and none of us could deal with that level of defeatism.
