Key fob went through the wash

Washed the key to my old Evo once. It was waterproof.

It went through a full wash cycle, found it before going into the dryer, works just fine.

Took it apart non the less to make sure it was dried out.

Think I'll get a spare one..... just because.
I think after the wash your 117 is only a 114 or maybe a 103 though. Lol

Glad it didn't damage it, which reminds me I should order a second one just in case.

Yep you should, because HD is to damn cheap to provide 2 with each bike.

I would leave it in a bowl of rice out of the box for a few days to get all of the moisture out, then put a new battery in it. I use my security pin a few times per season just to go to the store and back or whatever, just to make sure I remember what it is, and how to do it.

What detergent are you guys using for your FOBs? I use Tide, then use a leaf blower to dry it off.
