I can definitely second the front fender lug suggestion. Tying below the front suspension so that the suspension cannot cause strap loosening was the best thing I've done to reduce the bounce in the mirror as I go down the road.

My wife broke her back getting bucked off a horse so if it's more than an hour or two away, we trailer and then ride at the destination.

This sounds very logical. I am just not sure what "front fender lugs and thru Wheel Docks" refers to. Please explain, or post picture! Thanks!
Just about to trailer my road glide and the wifes spyder.

The circled part is the fender lug. Im not sure what he meant by thru wheel docks. Maybe he meant to type wheel chocks?

Was trying to find a pic but I'm thinking around the 2 min mark is what he means.

I have the PowerTye 2" straps. These are 1500 lb per strap.

And out of curiosity and give them a try I also purchsed a ShockStrap set. These are 1 1/2 " and 1000 lb working load limit and 3000 lb maximum load.

I seem to be the odd man out, but I use plain old Harley Davidson tie downs. Not the cheapest, but they just “feel” right.

I have used them for dirt bikes, shipping sport bikes, and even transporting my Harley. After dropping a bike off a trailer with inferior junk, I have never looked back.
