So because I work hard, make a **** ton of money by doing so, to where buying a new Harley annually, means I dont know any better or am a **** fer brains?
Funny how because you cant afford the price it makes everyone that can a moron?
WOW!
Dude, claim down. That is not what I said at all.
You can do what ever you want with your money and I could care less.
Bottom line is market adjustments, surcharges and excessive set up fees only exist because people are willing to pay them. If you like the deal and want to buy I am happy for you.

Making a really good living doesn't make you a moron because you can afford it.....the wife and I make a really good living and own 100% free and clear 6 Harleys, our home, our 2 trucks and our Challenger Hellcat but we are still not going to overpay ridiculous money for something we want just because "they" tell you it's worth it. If ANYONE wants to pay "crazy" money or fees for something that they want more power to them but still follish in my book.
After 'pandemic paralysis' settled down and vehicle sales were raging (combined with very low output) I personally saw dealers asking $10,000 above msrp for certain trucks. Some of them got it too. When a person has the funds and wants what they see, dealers bet on their ability to turn a looker into a biter. This definitely isn't how I roll, but there are plenty of people with enough disposable cash to burn some excess to get what they want when they want it. Weird though it may seem, I think some buyers actually like how it makes them feel to not be quibbling over above-msrp prices. I guess I just don't let it bother me. If a dealer asks for it, I can try to deal or move along. If a buyer pays it...not my business.
I have a longtime friend who budgets $30,000 per year to hunt. And I know guys who paid over $50,000 to go on one specific hunt in North America. The money is out there, and all dealers of vehicles, bikes, RVs and so on know it.

Other than the black being less than the blue, what else was the diff? Looking at the line items other than freight, tax and tags - its all BS - And their freight price is nuts...

I never understood the 'freight fee'?? What does anybody care how it got there? I could see if it was a special order just how you want it, but for a stock bike just sitting on their lot?? Yea I'm sure it costs alot to have it shipped but I'm sure they get a large shipment so its not like its only a single bike being shipped.
