HD boot sizing?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the sizing runs in HD boots compared to Doc Martins. I wear a size 12 DM's and would like to get a new set of riding boots, the nearest dealer is 100 miles and it's so much cheaper to buy online. Also if anyone could recommend some goodtypes/styles of their boots that would be great.

Don't forget that DMs are UK sized. You will need to order one full size larger for the proper USA size. I bought some HD boots last year from
www.sportsmansguide.com. They had a good selection and reasonable prices. They also carry DMs from time to time. Their customer service is quite effective. they would be able to answer any questions you have. Hope this helps.

try www.shoebuy.com, they offerfree returns if the size doesn't work out, they have several hd boots for sale....for me the size of hd boots is the same as my regular shoes and they fit well....good luck

You cannot generalize HD boot sizing. I have a wide foot. Some HD boots are too narrow. The ones I bought are a medium width but fit me real well because they run wide. You're going to have to try some on.

width was fine, but the size seemed about 1/2 small. they are also (at least in my pair) were very tight across the top. I know it is to keep them on in a wreck but really tight had to have them stretched. I would agree about red wing being an awesome boot.

i have two different pairs of H-D boots and they have been marvelous. the one I have are made by Wolverine. they are made for walking and are very light not the thick rubber soles that are made for the "image".

I bought a pair of Harley Streetside boots from Bootbiz.com They are located in Wisconsin After reading HD boots run smaller, I orderd a half size larger to be safe (don't know why) and they were too big. Bootbiz let me send them back and sent me the correct size with nohassle. They were the best price I found, These bootsare made by Wolverine and are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned No problem walking around rallies all day. Great bootsGreat place to buy. My advice, order your normal size
