Has anyone had any experience with the odometer LCD replacement from Mini Tools? They sell an LCD to replace the ones that have grown dim, but they are in Italy. It looks like about $65 with shipping and they have a YouTube video showing how to replace the LCD. Have not been able to find a U.S. supplier.
Subscribed. I'm curious after replacement is the old milage retained.
The mileage is stored electrically in the speedometer so your mileage is retained. I did find a place in south Florida that will replace the lcd’s for $200. A new replacement speedometer is about the same price, but the mileage starts at zero on a new one.
I ordered one yesterday, it was about $68 with shipping and it is already on its way to me from Italy and should be here early next week. Great customer service plus their address format doesn't work well for US addresses so I sent a message and they corrected mine within a few hours and prior to the same day shipment.
