Thought I was gonna be able to get out and finish pullin' the primary off the Sloptail today. Both knees are still sore as all get out, though. Can't stay bent over, or even sit in a chair for more than 15 or so minutes. Oh well, parts are on the way, and maybe by the time they arrive I'll be doin' well enough.

20-25 years ago, something like this wouldn't have even slowed us down. Now it kicks our butt for a couple of weeks. Then your buddy Arther comes to visit and never leaves. Hope you feel better soon!

UltraGeezer,

I think we have the same friend. Arthur Ritis? Shows up at my house when ever it gets cold and wet. Visits longer now that I'm over 60.

I never thought when I was young and invincible that any of this crap would ever apply to me. All the years of working outside in the cold & rain & snow, pulling 24, 36, and even a couple 72 hour shifts, the bike crashes, the goofing around & getting clobbered, and all the other great stuff young studly-do-rights go through have a price. The first installments started coming due a couple years ago.

And I wouldn't change a thing!

Hope you're 100% soon, Skip.

I'm still sore and stiff... and from such a low speed crash...

Cheers!

I never thought I'd live this long when I was young. As the quote goes "If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself" Nah, I wouldn't have. I wouldn't change anything either.
