Good idea....the forum patch that is...I like the idea about having a patch for the forum and it being the one suggested in regards to the one at the top of this site. Count me in members. I have a few on a jean jacket but I have no pictures to post and I believe I will get the vest and put some on iy too. Not my leather jacket though.

BLS

Got to meet Zakk Wylde by accident. BLS was playing in San Francisco at the The Fillmore. My wife got sick while the second band was playing so I took her back to the hotel. On the way down from our hotel room, I decided to get a beer at the bar in the front of the hotel. I walked up to the bar and ordered a beer. A guy approached me from the side to get his order and pay. I starred at him and he starred back. I closed my eyes then opened my eyes but his face was still there. I looked at him and thought...I had to many already. Well, I knew I was kind of unstable already. Damn, if it wasn't Zakk. I said out loud, "If you want the best beer in San Francisco, ZAKK, you need to visit the San Francisco brewery." I told Zakk the best beers that I know of in N. California was in San Francisco and Boulder Creek breweries. I told him that he should go to the San Francisco brewery and drink a pitcher of Albatross lager. If he wanted a kick *** ride through the Red Woods and good beer, go up highway 9 to the Boulder Creek Brewery and order a pitcher of Redwood Ale. After we talked a while, I left the bar and decided to grab my sick wife from our hotel room and bring her down to the bar. I needed to know if I was just F*ed-up wasted or was I really seeing Zakk Wylde. I needed a reality check. My wife came down to the bar and verified that it was indeed Zakk. After he left the bar, I went back into The Fillmore to watch his concert. BLS played Blessed Hell Ride and a bunch of my other favorites. He is truly a master guitarist/artist. I don't know why he isn't more popular than he is.

Sounds good to me at a reasonable price I will participate and buy a patch. Once you get some interest and a pattern can be agreed too I would then like to see a sample posted. One step at a time I guess.

Amanda,

I like the idea of a patch using our logo on the top of the page. The prices listed look really good to me. I would probably want 3 when the time comes. Maybe we could set up a PayPal account like Mac did for Springer so we could pay for them. Others could just mail money orders or whatever.

LET'S DO IT

I'll talk to them manana and get the approval art work. I will post it as soon as I receive it. I would be willing to pop for the first 100 instead of a cash contribution to the board for next year.
