I now for the first time in my life own a full face helmet. I've worn and still own a couple of modulars and have been looking at Simpsons for a year now.
Having an internal drop down visor is a must so the Ghost was high on my list.

For the price I said screw it, I going to give it a try. My thought was I would just paint it, maybe flat black. Well much to my surprise I actually like the look better than expected. The Carolina Girl is not happy. She has been polite but I know she does not like it and is asking why I need another helmet. When it comes to gear, helmets, gloves, jackets, riding socks and every other riding accessory I will be the first to admit I have a sickness.
I was concerned about fit. They say if you are close on size to go up a size. I have a big head at 24-3/4 inch circumstance and wear a 2XL in all helmets. This one stops at a 2XL.
Well she fits, very snug. But not uncomfortable. I've been wearing it around the shop and taking it on and off and like it. I hope to be able to put some miles on it today and see how it is on the road.
