And no one has said anything about the price so I assume it's fine? I solely based this selection on what I've read about this jack here. I also have a hard time trusting anything cheap made in China for example
The seller says it's in a great condition. Asking $400 for it. I've read nothing but great reviews on this jack so I'm considering pulling the trigger.
What should I look for? Is that a good price? thank you

Yeah, as clean as that one looks, that price is good. You might get $50 off if you ask.
I looked at J&S jacks some years ago and while they are exceptional jacks I weighted out just how much I would use it.
I had a goodyear jack the kids got for me that was 125.00 at the time and had served me well. Bout 2010 I think.
I don't know who actually made but for the price it did very well.
J&S bout that time I think was 300 bucks or so.
I jacked up the bike a few months ago with the same goodyear jack for some maintenance.
If I was looking at that jack 400 would be a stretch for me
But that's just me
It looks the same as my Harbor Freight one that has been performing flawlessly for about 5 years.
In 15 years of J&S ownership doing all kinds of work on the bike, I've literally never had to strap it down. I can climb onto the bike while it's up on the jack.
