I am curious. I have been to a couple dealers for services and they have come out with my bike washed and detailed pretty well. Anyone know how they do this so quick?
Back years ago when I even went to the dealer, all I ever saw them use was a pressure washer. I told them to never wash my bike(s) I'd do it when I got home.
Pretty sure my dealership scrubs them down with a wire brush and dries them with sandpaper. I'm glad for you that you've had good results. After the last time, that will be the very last time.
How to wash a bike fast?
Define fast... 1/2 hour, 1 hour, 2 hour.
1/2 hour wash, with no water ingress to the electronics being the goal.
Spray with garden hose, specific soap with foam cannon, spray again w/ hose, leaf blower to dry, quick spray wax onto the tank and fenders?
Or perhaps drug the owner so time seems to pass slower? LOL
I would like to think most people would know what's going on by watching.
However, that's not true I have found out over time listening to some on here.
I rarely take anything in for service but even a few times I have had to, it was because of warranty work. I keep an eye on what they are doing.
The last couple of Hondas I have had came with lifetime oil changes and state inspections. Trouble is, there is no way to watch them..
I have never taken advantage of that freebie. I do the maintenance and carry it to a inspection that I can watch them. And of course before I go, I have already inspected it.
