Live Wire Reviews.
Within the Nov 15 Motorweek TV show, the Livewire S2 Alpinista was reviewed.
My perceived take away:
71 miles to drain the battery w/ heavy throttle application, 1 hour to recharge to 80%, or overnight to 100% on 110v at home.
I recall it had about 110 miles distance if riding for the most mileage.
Has Brembo brakes and 17 inch rims for performance tire applications.
Top speed 99 miles per hour.
So... 71 miles? To me, that is "big"; my Sunday Morning Ride is over 100 miles.
Hopefully, HD or aftremarket will address my perceived "big" takeaway.

So just because it doesnt do what *you* want it to do, doesn't make it bad.
Yet there is absolutely no storage space or even a rack to Bungie anything.
These bikes should have big aluminum bags and a trunk like an adventure bike. There should be storage for laptops, jackets, lunch boxes and enough room to pickup bread and milk on the way home.
and 70 miles would fit most of my local jaunts , but for the cost, I'd get more bang for the buck out of one of the liter plus naked sport scoots

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I just saw some electric motorcycles showcased on Jay Leno's garage that were really pretty awesome.
He seemed fairly impressed too - and he's got some vintage Harleys we would all envy.
New things at first do suck and they all don't all turn out to be good but you got to be open about it learning it.
Otherwise I'd still be manual drafting, riding my Benelli 250 single cylinder and driving my 67 Camaro 3 speed on the column with points, manual steering and drum brakes.
Also - I was recently at a dealership in the parking lot a few guys were going on test rides of the new bikes.
At first I thought they were electric.
That Milwaukee 8 makes almost no sound.
Still pretty cool and I imagine they have a soul.
