Football just makes me so weak. I'm glad my wife is almost a bigger fan than me. I wanted to ride so bad Sunday, but it was opening weekend. I couldn't miss opening weekend.
yeah really no excuses for missing opening weekend cept funeral or birth!

I'm not really sure those are acceptable excuses either................... Well I guess if it's your funeral it's ok
Well now that the NFL is back my Sunday rides in the morning will dissappear. I definately will be watching my Vikings on the NFL ticket instead of riding....if I can manage to stay sober I may ride after the game....maybe.
So do you guys ride, or do the NFL thing now that it's here? Just curious to see as sunday is a great day to ride....
Don't like overpaid sports teamsso my choice is obvious!
I don't wantto highjack, but what makes them overpaid? Theyearn what the maket will bear,. like we all do. They do something only a fraction of the population can dream of doing. Their careers are often short, and they often end up with serious physical problems which can offset any money they end up with. I used to work out with a Pro Football player that played with the Packers. Truly one of the nicest guys I ever met. He lived here in the off-season, andwas just a regular guy.I'll be honest, I had been working out with him for about a month before I even knew who he was. I was working nights at the time, so my workouts took place during the day. A lot of times there were just a few of us in the gym, and I began working out with him when he once asked me for a spot. He is retired now, and has since left the area. [/blockquote]
Hey just my opinion, you know everyone has one.I'm not against an individual playing sports and not trying to judge them. I just don't agree with the "Market".
GO VIKINGS. i would rather ride. and to dvr or tivo the game is not just the same becasue at some time or another you will here the score before you actually see the game.
ride on my friends
I will be watching football in my Adrian Peterson or Hutch jersey. Go Vikings and I will be at the Vikes game in K.C.
It's great to see a fellow Harley rider and a guy who supports the Vikings.
Go T-Jack

Cool, we should do some tailgating together as I am flying to that game myself. One of my best friends is a DE for the Chiefs but told him I'm wearing purple that day and not his jersey!!!!!!!!!!

i'd rather be riding than watching a bunch of "overpaid primadonnas" run around and try to act cool. been to games in person, and really can't get into the players that think they can't be bothered by the people who pay their salaries. who cares!!!!!
Overpaid? I dont think so. Go tell that to Clark Everett-the Buffalo Bills TE who is likely paralyzed for life and still may not survive his injury this sunday. Overpaid are actor's making 20M a movie or 1M plus an episode on TV. These football players risk their lives every sunday for that paycheck. As for egos, sure some of them are big headed but I know some non-athletes who are just as bad if not worse....they are paid accordingly in my book...

You tell that to the men and women serving this country who ACTUALLY put thier lives at risk every day. Football is just a phucking game!
