Yes Main Street has changed, but good people watching and a beer at the Boot Hill is mandatory. Last year we found ourselves in the middle of their bikini contest, that didn't suck. But we do spend more time out of town for sure getting some riding in. Plans this year for St, Augustine and Mt. Dora/Sanford. The new Ace Cafe is in Sanford now, not in the middle of Orlando, definitely will be experienced. Then Crescent City for Three Bananas out in the swamp. Plus a bunch of others inland. Hairball is at the Spoke all week, well worth my time one evening and I hope to get some FREE beer at the Iron Horse this year, forgot my mug last year. Not to mention seafood for days.

And if the weather cooperates and it is over 70 degrees, we will be very happy. 12 degrees this morning leaving for work, enough of that **** already. Need me some palm trees.
Pretty much my weekly rounds lol. Ace is cool, kinda commercial and you get all types… but still pretty cool. Try Sullivan’s pub around the corner. (Good scotch selection) There’s like 5 downtown breweries now too. In Mt Dora my favorite is Frog and Monkey. Tavares is cool too.. Tiki West is awesome food. If you got lady’s with ya, in the same building is the Argonaut cocktail joint, not my scene, but the chics dig it.. inside is decked out like 2000 leagues under the sea. They love their fru fru drinks. There is also the Bru’ tap tap house. I’m not familiar with Bananas? Googled it… will go soon for sure.there are LOTS of little gems hidden out there like what Bananas seems to be.

It’s gotta be nicer weather than south central Pa.
6 degrees now with a high of 28 today.
I wish I was going.

Good list of stops, thank you. Last time in Mt Dora we went to Whiskey Kitchen, good food and really nice cigar selection. Argonaut seems like a good fit for our ladies.

We went to Ace in Orlando coming back from Key West, I would guess 6 years ago. I enjoyed it but location was not great for motorcycles. New location seems much better. We will likely do Sanford and Mt Dora on the same day, decent riding day.

Three Bananas is very good food on the lake and nice quiet ride, good for mid week to get away from the BW craziness.

Couple of more joints out in the swamp:
  • Cheyenne Saloon
  • Gnarly Gar Marina and Bar
  • Hideaway Bar & Grill
  • Drifters Riverfront Bar & Grill
  • Renegades on the River
  • OB's

Wow I think you know my area better than me lol. I’ve been to Hideaway and Drifters but the others are new to me, so thanks for that.

Whiskey Kitchen is cool. The food is better and cheaper at Frog & Monkey. And they know how to poor Guinness. Whiskey Kitchen is a much nicer atmosphere.. more date night than us dudes when the wives are home.

The new Sanford ACE location is really awesome. The bands they get are great.

By the way, if you take the ladies to the Argonaut, at the corner from it like two stores down is a cigar joint called Hemmingway’s. I don’t smoke but it’s really popular.

We found Oceanside Beach Bar & Grill on A1A last year, real good breakfast stop, I am sure lunch and dinner would be just as good. But it was nice place to sit but no long wait for food.

Lagerheads further up A1A is also another place we always go, good vibes.

If you want a 1975 time capsule true down and dirty biker bar… the Oasis in Sorrento still does like $2.00 drafts lol.

Deland:
Half Wall, decent food, lots of taps. Cool spot for pictures of the bikes in front
Bake Shop good eats, ladies will like.

Ormond
Grind Gastropub / Tiki Bar

Flagler
Breakawayz
Finns
Java Joint
Tortugas
Golden Lion

St Augustine
Prohibition Kitchen. - kinda gimmicky… but still cool.
St George Tavern
Caps on the Water
Meehans Irish Pub
Ice Plant -great place to take the ladies for a good meal

Palm Coast
Bartletts

Ive had more fun at Ocean deck bar and grill (27 S Ocean Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118) than just about anywhere. Perfect group of friends, great band, great servers.. good drinks.. even scored Forteliza Winter blend at $20 a pour.. needless to say we didn’t leave that bottle behind.

Here’s just a loose itinerary I made, it’s not rigid even though it looks it. Bunch a couples and one single guy. They ask me to make them so if it ends up 8-9 people standing around saying “where to next and what’s the meaning of life” we have a loose plan. We hit a good chunk of these and did other stuff along the way. I send it out a few weeks before as suggestions just to get everyone on the same page, and then we kinda wing it from there.

‘’It’s in the Daytona areas, so might help someone.
