I believe I have the same one in black (looks the same). Good down to 60 degrees, then its time to break out the hoodie underneath.

I will not ride without gloves. But that's just me. Like my sunglasses (some of you may remember my crazy post that I take like 4 pairs of glasses with me at all times. Yeah whatever), I have a bunch of gloves. Fingerless for hot days. Old perforated leather for expected rain. I do not want to ruin a pair of newer gloves just to get through the rain. Solid leather gloves for cool weather. Glove liners too for very cold weather. Regular perforated gloves for warm but not hot days. Currently I carry a backup pair of fingerless gloves since my main pair are starting to rip.

All that said, I will never purchase HD gloves since they are just way overpriced. Like many things (such as boots), once I find what I like, I will purchase replacements online. I forget the brands, but many were purchased from Cycle Gear or at shows.

Had new rider ask me why I wore the old well used cowhides with the fingers cut off, was it a cool looks things ? Guy if you trip what happens out of reflex and hits the ground first? You could see the light bulb behind the eyes pop on, yeah just imagine the palms & fingers all tore up and bandaged, whose going to wipe your azz for you? I can't help but believe had gloves before the weekend was out.

Hands are important. Feet are important. Seems rarely will someone spend as much for a pair of great gloves as they do for fine boots. Pot meet kettle. None of my riding boots cost less than $220 with some up to $350. Meanwhile the vast majority of my gloves are $120 and under. Hands are WAY more important than feet in everyday life and activities. I 100% always wear gloves when riding, and they're always leather...no exception. For some time I've been considering a pair of completely custom leather riding gloves. No corporate logos or advertising....just perfect fit and protection customized for me.

Feet are always a sore subject for me (Pun probably intended.) All you normal folk out there that represent the majority of foot size normality.. The world is your oyster.. you can actually look on line and choose foot ware in all designs and price points..grrrrr.

I wear what can be found. It’s never what I like, it’s what I can find. I wear a 13 EEEEE shoe. It doesn’t matter if it says “extra wide” or 3E.. it won’t fit. Custom made shoes are available at very high prices but even then it’s limited to just a very few basic shoe designs… and ones specifically made for riding? Good luck.

I have no choice but to make compromises. Currently I have a pair of Dr. Comfort all leather above the ankle laced hiking style boots, and a pair of Ortho feet black laced hiking boots that are above the ankle. Neither are slip resistant. Neither are armored. Best I can do.

As I type I am looking at the back of my right hand with a 2" scar on it from my last MC accident. I was wearing gloves, the gloves have no rips or indication of being in an incident. But the back of my hand is a constant reminder. With all that happened that day not sure how it happened, I guess part of the bike somehow went under the glove at the wrist.

Be prepared, and all of that.

Another reason to wear gloves is to protect and keep the sun off the back of your hands.
As you age the skin gets really thin there. It bruises and cuts way too easy.

I wear gloves all the time, because of sunburn or potential of sunburn.

Never ride without gloves. Been around 20 years since I wore fingerless.

You think hands are important, but not your finger tips?????
