I think that happened in 2006 when the twin cam dyna's got an all new frame and the six speed transmission.

Well, the bike looks and sounds great... even as a TC.
Easier way to tell, IMO, is the where the lifters/pushrods meet at the top of the cam chest. The Twin Cam has a huge separate since it has two cams. Evo is really close together, steep angle.

I can see what you are suggesting. Here they are side by side (as best I can get them). It's a screen shot from Tcrafty's video and a pic from my 1988 Heritage. Of course the crosspipe hides the top of the cam chest .

The lifter covers give it away.

Freakin cool that your sister rides. Her bike sounds good! It would be awesome to ride with my sister, but she has no interest in motorcycles.

It IS cool.
She'll do local stuff. Any real miles and she's on the back of the hub's Streetglide.
She gets a LOT of thumbs up when she rolls through town.
