That's frikkin' awesome! How old is she? Definitely want to teach our kids how to properly handle a weapon. My son will be 9 in a couple of weeks and my daughter is 7. I just don't think they're mature enough yet. The boy has been driving us crazy wanting one of those mini-choppers, but he has to learn some responsibility first...particularly the listening to Mom and Dad thing.
She was 6 in the video, she'll be 10 next month when I go home. Both of my kids have their own guns and have both hunted. I think that getting kids involved in firearm education is a great idea and it helps take away the "curious" factor.
As far as the "listening thing" you mention, LOL....good luck with that one!
One last hijack here. Have a muzzle brake installed on the AR, it will help in taming the recoil. Buying the brake and having the barrel threaded and stuff should run about $100.00. If it costs you more than that send me a PM and we will have the gun shipped here and the brake installed for just the shipping cost. (You supply the brake though.)

That was really cool. I kept expecting her land on her bottom. Good job. Sorry for the hijacking. I heard guns and bikes one thread and got excited.
Me too, a couple of my FAVORITE subjects.

I never rode with my husband. We both got bikes about the same time and I knew from the beginning I really wanted my own bike. Love it, but there are alot of women out there who are quite happy being a passenger and have no interest in having their own bike. It's an individual choice.

That lil one is hard to tame. Not only does she like to shoot, but she loves to hunt to. She shot her first deer at six, and also plays ice hockey, street hockey, and field hockey. I had a conversation the other day with her on the phone and she was telling me about a yard sale my wife's family is having. I joked with her to make sure her mom doesn't sell my bike. She told me, " I would NEVER let mom sell your bike". I think I'm going to have my hands full as she gets older, she is piriceless.

Seeing as my hubby does not ride a motorcycle at all...never did, never will...riding on the back wasn't an option for me. I rode my own from the get-go. Even though he doesn't ride, he supports my hobby 100%...and has no problem whatsoever, with me going on long distance trips with other riding buddies - male or female. I'm a lucky gal.

Put him on the back.... [8D]Just foolin' around. My hubby rides but if he isn't in the mood to go and I am he has no problem with me going with anyone of our guy or female friends. I feel very lucky to finally have a SO that isn't so jealous.

Thanks for the info Bosnmate. Unfortunately, I no longer have the AR. The kids needed hunting rifles, so.....
