Yes, but don't think it's about whether your bike is better or not, it's just a better feeling
to be on your own. Funny thing for me is that it's only with my bike, with cars, it's another
story (I've got family members who have really nice sports cars that I use time to time),
But I've been on some really expensive custom bikes that make my 05 FatBoy look stock,
always glad to return to my girl. It's quite a passionate thing with our bikes, something I don't
thing cagers get. Just my 2c
I just don't let anyone ride mine and I don't ride theirs. It'd be like leting them ride the wife. Both of them look awesome and I don't want a rod thrown in either of them
I don't like to ride somebody elses bike, I did ride my wife's 883 Sportster home from the dealers once.....not quite big enough for me. I love my RKC and NRS.
I did the test ride of the new Harleys at Daytona Motor Speedway during bike week a few years ago (2005?) where you can sign a waiver and test ride any model of Harley. Rode the Road King, Sporty, Springer, and even the V-Rod. Definitely a different feel to all of them as compared to my Fatboy. And FWIW, the V-Rod was scary fast but uncomfortable to ride due to the position of the pegs and bars. The Road Kings felt like they had a bouncy suspension compared to the Softail. Nothing is ever quite like your own ride...
