Hi
I would like to know what do you use (what remote control) to open the gate of a community?
not the garage door... some comunity has a automatic gate....
I know that harley has something but I think this only works with the garage gate, because you have to put a transmiter in your garage... or not?

I found this but first it is to much money and then I have to put a visible... I really like one like the harley but I can't put any transmiter y the community gate...

You will have to know what type (brand) of gate controller is being used. Then you will need to know the opereating frequency of the controller (opener transmitter/receiver).
You'll have to obtain premission from the management to setup your remote (dip switch settings) to match their requirements,
Hence:
The remote you must obtain has to be one that is able to transmitt on the gate controller freq. and that usually means a direct contact with the community manager. Sorry this is the best advise I can give as there are no general gate opener remotes... The are all specific for security reasons.

I live in a gated community and carry my automatic opener in my leather windshield bag. It is not a special opener but rather one of three provided to us when we bought our home.
