Your wife sounds like me when I first started riding. Now I just wash it and put it in a pony tail and off we go. It sure has cut down on my time to get ready in the morning and my boyfriend loves that I can be ready in half an hour or so!I do, however,always keep a hat to throw on at each stop.
I say enjoy that she rides with you and let her take the time to do her hair if she feels like it!

That's the way to think about it. Very few men will ever be able to figure us women out, unless they have a few extra female genes in their DNA. I for one just wash and dry my hair and put it into a ponytail and keep either a hat or a BB cap on the bike for our stops.
