Hey everyone, I have found a great hotel with rooms available within 25 minutes of Milwaukee right off of the interstate so it is convenient. They are a Hilton Garden Inn hotel that has only been open for 6 months so it isn't as well known and has rooms still because of this. The hotel has a restaurant, lounge, pool, etc. sleep number beds and plasma screen tv's. Visit their website at www.oconomowoc.stayhgi.com
Oconomowoc WI is about 40 (real time) minutes west of downtown Milwaukee. That being said.... it's a nice city to stay in. and it's a straight shot west to downtown Milwaukee. also easy access to the various dealers and easy to find the MoCo as well. Also nice riding in that area as well.
I have noticed a lot of posts for riders looking for somewhere to stay. \\; I had 4 riders stay at my house for the 100th and with all the posts looking for rooms I have decided to open my condo up for anyone that is interested. \\; I am not trying to get rich just trying to make a few extra $ to pay Wisconsin's outragious property taxes. \\; Here is what I have up for rent:
 \\;
Newer (Built in 2004) 2 bedroom/2 full bath 1800 square foot condo with attached 2 car garage for your bikes in Oak Cree, WI. \\; I am 10 miles directly south of all the events. \\; This unit has a full kitchen, dining room, covered patio, billiards room, living room with fireplace, family room, etc. \\; I am close to shopping, a Harley distribution site, great restaurants and bars.
 \\;
or come join us at the"official" campground (Washington County Fair Park in West Bend) although even that is getting full i suppose. Lynard Skynard is playing a welcome party there Weds night, so they want all the riders to arrive before 4 pm. that's a long ride from St Louis in one day!
The official entertainment looks ok as posted on the HD site. Does anyone else have some "off" campus music that i should start thinking about doing on Thurs, Fri or Sat? not being from the area, i wouldn't know where to look!
and a forum meet up sounds good to me.
