The fenders (what's up with that little lower kick out on the front fender?) and the exhaust just loose me. Pretty much typical metric style "styling".
I was at the local yamaha shop looking a the rhino atv when i noticed a bike that copied a rocker it was a star motorcycle raider and i like it better than the rocker i think there must be spies in the camp.
I test rode a Raider at Biketoberfest in Daytona last week... its a really nice bike. Handles really well and gobs of power everywhere. Yes the stock pipes sucked but most do. For a while anyway, thats thefirst thing changed on a bike anyway so I never care what the stockers look like. I liked the pics of the Rocker, but after seeing it in person I was not impressed. Would liked to have ridden one but they didn't have one available for testrides at the HD tent at the racetrack, but they did have a couple you could sit on and make vroom vroom noises...lol.
on a sidenote I also got to test ride the CanAm Spyder 3 wheeler... man that was SOME fun! Although that was the 1st time I had to take a BREATHALYZER test and pass a CLOSED COURSE exam before I could do a test ride on the streets!
I went thru 2 metrics, a Suzuki C50 and a Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic and just purchased my 1st HD, 07 FLHTC. The metrics are good, reliable cruisers that don't give you much trouble but they are boring/sterile
bikes. No soul or spirit. Those are intangibles I know but once I test drove the HD I knew what everyone liked about them right away. TheMetric builderscopy well, but they are still missing the bullseye! ( Sorta like the difference between a Craftsmanwrench and a Snap-On )
