I'm going to Prairie Rock Brewery in Elgin, IL tonight for a lil b-day gathering. I don't really know the guy, but Prairie Rock has good beer...so I'm in.
Gimme an Ale, nothing too hoppy. Maybe an Octoberfest. It goes well with the Fall weather out here.

This is good beer weather.
If you're in the mood for lagers....an Oktoberfest/märzen or even a doppelbock (if its cold enough where you are).
...or ales... a maltier American amber, a Scottish wee heavy, or even a brown porter...or a Belgian dubbel.
I'm a homebrewer and have all of the above on tap at home. Every lunch is a good lunch

I'm going to get the M5 detailed....then I'm going to take Audrey to the polo club (she gets awfully snippy if I pick her up in a dirty beemer)...once there, we will enjoy some samuel adams Utopia and enjoy todays match...the OCC ladsvs. the WEST COAST CHOPPERS boys...kind of an east coast-west coast thing I guess..anyway it should be awfully exciting.....chow
