Sorry, I thought you meant the Bronx River Parkway. Now there's a real challenge during rush hour.

All jokes aside... the bronx river parkway is a nice ride too.... rode all they way to the end of the taconic the first week I had my bike...
But it doesn't compare to the BRP or any of the blueridge twisties... been riding them for over 25 years now....

Lady.... What is this " Virginia's dragon "that you speak of ?

but many peoples say after your on it for a hour or so your dyin to get off???
Very few places you get off the BRP, you won't have a bunch more twisties to enjoy, before you get to flat (almost) land.

Depends on what you are looking for.

The BRP is a "Touring" road, beautiful scenery and stops to wander around.

The "Dragon", is for adrenalin junkies, speed and cornering the reason to be there, not sightseeing.

Ride over Mount Mitchel at night with a hard fog ! Man Spooksville for sure, but cool as hell!!
I ran over it last week like that. Could only see 2 yellow lines ahead of me usually. Awful lonely up there all by yourslef. Just you yur bike and the FOG..
"cool as hell" I assume refers to the temp. Otherwise, I don't remember thinking, "this is cool", but more " I gotta be an idiot to be up here in this"

I think she is speaking of route 56.......200 plus turns and alot of elevation changes.......I think the side roads are more fun than the parkway........just my opinion
