RE: Stop light etiquette...what the hell do you do???
I hate it when people wave at mewhile sitting at a traffic light. I go to give them a left hand wave back, the bike lurches then stalls out, light turns green and I'm left sitting there tryin to get the bike started again. Cars are pulling away and the kids are lookin out the back window grinning like its funny or sumpthin.

look around, nod if you make eye contact and try not to do anything stupid.....like drop the bike.
Hehe, back when I was about 19, my girlfriend was on the back of my bro-in-laws bike on the left, as he had a sissy bar. We pulled up to a light, and I'm looking at the car to my right when my gf decides she wants a kiss. She grabs my jacket from the left side and pulls me towards her, and down I go, bike and all. I was able to drop it slowly, right in front of all the cars stopped behind us [:@]. Even though it was a 700lb bike, due to the embarassment, I had no problem grabbing hold and standing it right back up.

Juat when I realized that fingerless gloves are gay, no one will wave at you if you're wearing a FF helmet, and that I am not supposed to wheremy chaps w/o pants underneath, you tell me there is stop light etiquette. There are too many rulesto being a biker.

Now the trivia begins. Rockwell was Barry Gordy's son or son in law. I'm too lazy to goiogle it and that's cheating anyway. My point is that he was only "big" or woking with such superstars becasue of who he was related to. Now if you have a bagger and are sitting at a light playing that song, I might stare for a minute. If you have fingerless gloves and fringe too, and are a man look out, I might kiss you...j/k
