Does anyone know who makes an automotive multimeter with tachometer that I can use to adjust the idle on my bike? I found one made by Fluke but didnt want to drop $350 for the set up.

Fluke makes exceptional meters. I have always thought that when you buy the best you can't go wrong.. and with meters you usually get what you pay for. I'm sure that you could find a less expensive new or used model, but the quality and calibration may be questionable.. could try some of the units Sears has, that stuff can also be somewhat pricey.

I know the buck always stops, however briefly, at our own wallets. Fluke is good stuff with an incredible aray of attachments and add-ons. If you are going to buy a dvom do it once and buy the fluke.

I agree about the Fluke meters. I know electricians who use them and I also use one at my company. Top notch equipment with a life time warranty. Would just like to find something less expensive for the occasional idle check.
