Default New Rotors

Going to put new rotors on my bike this week. Should I use red or blue locktite on the rotor bolts?

I have been told by factory trained machanic to use red. I am sure it is correct. It is very hard to get them back off that way if you need to. I use none but do much preventive maintance to my bike.

BLUE! Use red and you will ruin the finish on the new shiny rotors when you have to remove one because of the amount of heat you will have to use on each bolt to be able to remove it. Blue Loctite will be just fine if you use the correct torque. You should torque opposite bolts as much as possible. Don't tighten all the way down the first go around. Use about 80% of the recommended torque all the way around and then go back after resetting the torque wrench to the final setting and finish. ....... BC

I have no idea which to use, but those are sweet rotors! I see in your sig picture that you have spokes. Is that an old picture or do you have matching rims to those rotors?

Use red if you never want to remove them.
