Well, I think that's a pretty cool idea. Not sure why the huge discrepancy in price between the 3 & 6 inch, but it must be in the location/placement whatever.
Don't think I'll buy one, but I can think of loads of personal reasons people may have for getting one. Heck, especially for $250.
People spend that kind of money on plenty of stuff a lot less substantial.
I've dropped that on a big family dinner in a restaurant before. Once.

Are they real stainless or cadium coated like their spokes and fastners. Oh well doesn't matter I am sure they will sell a polished/plaited replacement rivet in the parts and accessory catalog when this one tarnishes.
Hmmm... On second thought; maybe if my dad bought me my bike, and he was into useless crap, I'd give him the gift that keeps on giving.... a rivet, telling the world that daddy bought me my bike!
I wouldn't do it, I consider it giving them money for nothing in return, but I have seen people spend more for less with the MoCo. My guess is they will sell all that they have made available.
