I have the 508s on my o7 RKC with sundowner seat. I'm happy with em. I enjoy the 16" pullback. the 518s are wider but not as much pullback. i recently took a 1000 mile roundtrip ride. very comfy without shoulder fatigue. they also look awesome on the bike.
I had the 508's on my Road King Classic. They sure looked good, but were not as comfortable as I wanted them to be - too much pullback and the grips were angled too much like a wheelbarrow. I think the 518's would have been a better choice for me (5'10").

You're probably right. Before I bought my 518s I called Wild1 and spoke with John (if I recall correctly), and he said what you said: that the 508s were wheelbarrow-shape, and I'd be happier with the 518s. I'm also 5'10". Glad I listened.
Thanks for all the replies.I've decided on the 518s.I picked up used 518s with a few blemishes for $50. Planon having them rechromed wich sould run about $60.So I shouldbe saving about $100. Thanks again for the help.
