Still nice in Hawaii

I appreciate the heads up tho. I went to Home Depot to order a snow shovel. They looked at me strange until I explained the melting caps thing... well, they still looked at me strange, but they wont be laughing when they need their lanai and driveway cleared.

It's up in the Panhandle, about 3 jillion miles from Corpus. Been awhile since it snowed on the Gulf.

Gotta remember somethin' about Texas. It's sorta big. 677 miles from Corpus to Amarillo. 815 miles from Texarkana to El Paso. El paso is closer to Los Angeles, CAthan it is to Texarkana, TX (803 miles).

You might hit some cool & wet comin' from this way that time of year. Or it might be hotter than all get-out.

I live in Albuquerque, NM. It started to snow on Thursday, and friday. Not much, just enough to blanket the ground. Then, the rest of the weekend was cold as ****.This afternoon was nice, though. And BTW, last year we had a record snow fall. Something like 17". I doubt this year will get close to that. And also, regarding that whole global warming crap. The weather has been doing the same thing for millions of years, according to the scientists. Ya can't believe everything you read, and only half of what you see.

Naw Bro don't worry about it. You'll be able to go windsurfing when you get there. Or ride your bike down to the border for "a little cultural exchange".....

To be fair, it did snow (enough to actually turn the ground white) on the Gulf Coast a few years ago for the first time since 1961. I remember it well as I was on the patio grillin' some steaks when it began to fall. Do not fear though, as usual it was gone the next day and the temps were back into the normal frigid winter 50's once again.
