Default Sweating

I keep my bike in a carport. Sometimes covered, sometimes not. Every so often I get 'sweat' all over the bike when the humidity is high or if it is raining. I direct air from 2 floor fans and that helps. Any opinions regarding potential issues from sweating, i.e/. rust? Bikes are designed to operate in wet weather and it doesn't seem to be a problem with cars but what about bikes? So far I have not noticed any rusting.

Space heater under the bike....works for me for. Plus....put some heavy duty plastic on the floor and park the bike on top of it....helps with any moisture coming up from the concrete.

I found sweating is the most destructive thing there is. Fortunately now I have a small well isulated shed with a space heater that keeps it above ambient air temp. Stays nice and dry. Now my aircraft is another story. Usually through the winter it stays fairly dry and cold, but in around April when the temps raise outside and the hanger is cold the plane is dripping wet. This is when any bolt or screw will rust if it's weak on protection. Sweats inside the engine too.

Plastic on the floor and maybe a piece of plywood to park on. Not much you can do about the sweating. I dont know about the space heater idea unde the bike. Fire hazard?
It will rust if its wet.

In my garage I keep the bike covered with a breathable cotton cover. I keep the bike elevated just off the ground and put a 40 watt bulbclipped to the jack so it won't come in contact with the cover. Light stays on 24/7. I'm hoping this is going to work because I live in an extremely wet climate.

My 2002 Heritage Softail Classic still looks new because it lives in a 12X16 building that I built and I heat it to 60 degrees in the winter. My buddy's 2005 Roadking is developing a lot of rust on the bolts, spokes and some of the chrome because he lives in Louisiana and he keeps it on a carport. most of the time uncovered. I told him he needs to build a little shed to keep it in or get a trailer and put it inside it enclosed. Anyway, his 2005 looks older than my 2002. They will rust if the elements can get to them. Good luck on finding a way to keep it dry and out of the elements.

Your cover vented? If not, you could be traping moisture under the cover.
