I did a search last night trying to find a relocation kit for the coil. I'd like to find one of the dagger/spear (?) shaped coil covers/motor mountthat are commonly found for older model engines and that would allow the relocation of the coil. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'll have to cut the coil bracket off once I do this, right?
Well, I dont think you would have to cut off the coil bracket, but to make it look better you probably would want to. Only problem is the late model coils are a one piece unit. The bracket you have linked is for a 2 coil system. Now I dont know if you can change from a one coil to a two coil system on a TC, but that may be something to think about as well. I also am not aware of a mount like that for just one large coil.
