Used to have it for cars in Oklahoma but not bikes. Now we don't have it for either. It was only $5 for the car and folks screamed they couldn't afford it. Now the roads are full of wrecks driving down the road smokin up the place and dropping parts in the road. Stupid politicians.
When I lived in North Carolina I used to take all my registrations for all my vehicles to this shop and he would give me an inspection sticker for each one. Stopped by there last summer and he is still in buisness and still giving out stickers.
$10 bucks in Louisiana, but you just have to have it with you, you don't have to stick it on the bike. Plus, you just walk in with your paperwork and tell em you need a sticker, then walk out with it. They don't "inspect" anything, they just "expect" $10.
We have a yearly bike inspection here in MA and it costs about $25 I think. But every year there's rumors that they're going to crack down on after market pipes and fail people over a certain db level. Hasn't happened yet.

In Mass its $29.00 for cars and $15.00 for motorcycles.. They put the sticker on the top left hand corner of you lic plate. Then when you buy a new bike and transfer the plate they tell you you have 7 days in which to get it inspected. BUT you have a good looking sticker already on your plate so way waste the money. Good from June 1 to May 31st. Last year I brought in my C50 with 12k on it and they ran it trough the ringer. But they found nothing. They the dealers don't have the money for the DB tests equipment yet.
What states have motorcycle inspections? Here in Ohio they do not, atleast I've never had one.Do you have to have them everytime you get plates?Do you have to pay for the inspection?Just wondering
Come to think of it, I haven't been pulled over for one of the vehicle inspections they do along the road in 12 years since I moved up to Sandusky. Used to get one about every year around Mansfield. Didn't have a bike then, so not sure if they inspected those then or not
